Each recommendation is one complete build. Best attack, defense and HP may use different equipment; their maxima cannot be added together. Balanced equally weights attack + defense + HP; it is not a combat simulator.
Why the combination works

The optimizer chooses one maximum-star piece per slot, with mixed sets and all reached 2, 4 and 6-piece tiers evaluated together. Tied optimal combinations can exist. Everything is calculated in your browser; no emulator or game login is needed.
Refinements are deliberately excluded so RNG does not hide the equipment/set comparison. Dragon selection enables conditional equipment effects; it does not add the dragon's own stats. General attributes, assistants, duty/monarch gear, collection ownership bonuses and all other account buffs are separate. Enemy reductions show the selected troop family before combat caps. Feature-gated set bonuses are not assumed. Not every piece is obtainable on every server.
